Character Creation

Stages in Character Creation
1. Roll 4d6 (6 sided dice 4 times) and discard the lowest roll. Record the sum of the remaining 3 die. Repeat 5 more times for a total of 6 scores. These are your attribute scores (follow this link for more details).
2. Decide on a character class (follow this link for character classes).
3. Decide on a race (follow this link for races).
Note: ensure your scores, #2 and #3 all go together (see below for details).
4. Designate 1 attribute as your primary one due to the class you have selected. Non-humans select 1 other attribute as a primary one while humans select 2 other primary attributes. The remaining attributes become secondary attributes. Primary attribute tests are significantly easier to succeed at than secondary ones. (follow this link for more details).
5. Use the character class information (on this link) to fill out your character sheet.
6. Collaborate with CK/DM to create background information to make your character part of the world. You will need a backstory (follow this link). You will also need, as part of your backstory, a career/secondary skills (e.g. farmer). This career comes with a set of skills your character can draw upon. Follow this link for more details on secondary skills.
7. Buy equipment (follow this link for equipment lists, etc.) and prepare to adventure!
